When Shell’s Naples location sought to modernize its outdated monument sign, King Signs & Graphics was selected to design and build a custom LED price pole that reflected the company’s global identity and commitment to innovation.
The mission: deliver a high-visibility, digitally illuminated sign that not only meets Shell’s corporate branding standards but also adheres to Collier County and FDOT engineering requirements for wind-load and safety compliance.
Designing for Performance and Precision
Our in-house design team began by studying Shell’s national sign specifications, then adapting them to the environmental and regulatory conditions unique to Southwest Florida.
The new price pole combines engineering precision with aesthetic simplicity — a clean, rectangular form with crisp brand colors, balanced proportions, and a seamless face design featuring Shell’s logo, Subway, and V-Power panels.

Fabrication & Assembly
All components were fabricated in-house at our Miami facility, ensuring total control over quality and consistency.
The cabinet’s aluminum skin and internal steel skeleton were CNC-cut, welded, and powder-coated for long-term corrosion resistance.
Our electrical technicians assembled and pre-tested the UL-listed LED display modules and internal drivers before delivery, guaranteeing reliability once the unit was energized on site.
Every weld, seam, and connection point was inspected against King Signs’ UL 48 sign standards, ensuring the sign was ready for years of continuous service in Florida’s demanding climate.
Installation on Challenging Terrain
The installation site — located just off U.S. 41 in Naples — presented elevation and drainage challenges.
Our field crew coordinated with civil engineers to secure the foundation and ensure proper alignment under both structural and aesthetic tolerances.
Using a crane-assisted lift and precision leveling, the cabinet was mounted and anchored onto a reinforced steel column, complete with internal conduit access for future servicing.

Fabrication and Assembly at King Signs & Graphics Miami
Every component of the Shell LED price sign was fabricated in-house at our Miami facility to guarantee quality control and UL compliance. The internal frame was CNC-cut and welded for strength, while LED modules and electrical components were pre-tested before installation.
